HCC Wins Major Contract for Mumbai's East-West Connection

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) announced on Thursday that it has been awarded a substantial contract valued at Rs 1,662 crore by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The contract involves constructing a segment of the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road, an initiative aimed at improving Mumbai's East-West connectivity.
This project is part of the fourth phase of the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road corridor development, being carried out under a joint venture between Aakshya and HCC, in which HCC holds a 49% stake. The collaboration underscores the ongoing efforts to address Mumbai's demanding infrastructure needs.
Hindustan Construction Company has an impressive track record in the infrastructure sector, having completed a significant portion of India's hydro and nuclear power generation facilities, as well as extensive kilometers of highways, tunnels, and bridges.
