Ukraine Strengthens Middle East Ties to Counter Iranian Drone Threat

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy revealed on Tuesday that Rustem Umerov, the country's chief negotiator, is traveling to the Middle East. Accompanied by military officials, their objective is to strengthen defense strategies against Iranian drones.

Zelenskiy announced during his nightly video address that the delegation is en route to the Gulf region. The team aims to safeguard lives and stabilize the situation effectively by establishing robust defense mechanisms.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized the global uncertainty surrounding the duration of this threat but highlighted the urgency of initiating effective life-saving measures and achieving stability as soon as possible.
