Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for a series of ambitious development projects valued at approximately Rs 33,500 crore. Highlights include two new Delhi Metro corridors that promise to revitalize the infrastructure of the national capital.
These additions to the Pink Line and Magenta Line are set to vastly improve connectivity for commuters across north, east, and south Delhi. The projects, which will include strengthened links to the airport, are expected to facilitate smoother and eco-friendly public transport in the region.
Further, the redevelopment of General Pool Residential Accommodation colonies will provide modern housing for government employees, signaling a significant leap towards enhanced urban living. The initiative emphasizes reducing road pressure and tackling pollution with improved public transport solutions.
