Tragic Wedding Return Leads to Fatal Crash in Sonipat

In a tragic accident, five friends lost their lives while two sustained injuries in Haryana's Sonipat district, officials reported on Saturday. The incident, which involved the victims’ SUV crashing into a tree, occurred during their return journey to Rohtak after attending a wedding ceremony in Gohana.

Authorities revealed that the SUV was severely mangled following the collision. The crash claimed the lives of three individuals instantly, while two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The fate of the injured parties remains grave, with one still in critical condition.

The deceased have been identified by officials as Sagar, Deepak, Sahil, Mohit, and Ankush, aged between 22 and 27, hailing from the villages of Khidwali and Ghuskani in Rohtak district.
