Tragedy Strikes: Morning Walk Turns Fatal in Amethi
A speeding truck hit two residents on their morning walk near Biasia village, Amethi, resulting in one death and one serious injury. Police identified the victims as Kamlesh Singh and Ramshankar Tiwari. The truck driver fled, and efforts to trace the vehicle are underway using CCTV footage.

A tragic incident occurred during a seemingly routine morning walk near Biasia village in the Amethi police station area. Two individuals were struck by a speeding truck, leading to the unfortunate death of Kamlesh Singh, aged 55, and severe injuries to 50-year-old Ramshankar Tiwari.
Authorities revealed that the victims are residents of Naraini Maharajpur, Amethi. Following the accident, Singh was promptly pronounced dead at the district hospital, while Tiwari is currently receiving medical care. Local law enforcement is vigorously working to address the situation.
After the collision, the truck driver fled the scene with the vehicle. Amethi police station's SHO, Ravi Singh, stated that the deceased's body has been sent for post-mortem, and measures to locate the truck are being taken through CCTV camera investigation.
