Tragic Canal Accident Claims Young Doctor's Life
Dr. Amal Suraj, a 33-year-old doctor from Ottapalam, died when his car fell into a canal in Vaikom, Kerala. The accident was discovered in the morning by residents. Police retrieved the body, contacted his family, and are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

A tragic accident in Vaikom, Kerala, resulted in the death of a 33-year-old doctor, Dr. Amal Suraj, after his car plunged into a canal.
Early on Friday morning, local residents discovered the submerged vehicle near the Thottuvakam bridge and alerted the authorities. The police and Fire and Rescue Service personnel promptly responded to the call.
The rescue team retrieved the vehicle and found Dr. Suraj deceased inside. Preliminary investigations indicate the accident occurred in the early hours of the morning. The doctor's body has been taken to the Government Hospital in Vaikom for a post-mortem examination as the police continue their investigation.
