The Opposition BJP unveiled a 'Killer Congress' poster campaign on Friday, criticizing the ruling Congress party's governance in Karnataka, alleging it has become unsafe for women.
Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje spearheaded the initiative, highlighting numerous atrocities, including the disappearance of school girls and heinous crimes like murder and assault against women. The campaign poster, showing Congress leaders and a blood-stained symbol, aims to draw attention to these issues.
Karandlaje called for action from the National Women's Commission, apprising them of the serious challenges present in the state, as BJP attempts to hold the Congress accountable for the deteriorating safety conditions under their regime.
