Yogi Adityanath's Vision: Transforming Bundelkhand into an Industrial Powerhouse

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has outlined an ambitious plan to transform the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) region with substantial infrastructural upgrades. Top on the list are the development of airports, railway stations, and a multimodal logistics park aimed at enhancing connectivity and driving industrial growth.

During a high-level review meeting, CM Adityanath highlighted the extension of the Agra–Gwalior Greenfield Expressway to BIDA/Jhansi and instructed the NHAI to explore this proposal. Plans also include constructing a new railway station and expanding the Delhi–Nagpur Industrial Corridor to integrate BIDA better.

The Chief Minister underscored that these developments would turn the perception of Bundelkhand from a symbol of backwardness to one of progress. Completing land acquisitions efficiently within six months and establishing a transparent process are critical to boosting investor confidence and fostering a business-friendly ecosystem.
