Prominent Appointments: Lahiri and Das Join Niti Aayog Leadership

Renowned economist Ashok Lahiri and prominent scientist Gobardhan Das have been appointed as the vice-chairman and member of Niti Aayog, respectively, according to government sources.

Lahiri, a well-known BJP MLA and former chief economic advisor, will take on the role of vice-chairman, marking a significant step in his career. Meanwhile, Das, who leads the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Bhopal, will contribute his expertise as a member.
