In a dramatic series of events, a considerable number of Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Rajya Sabha members have decided to leave the party. The announcement was made during a joint press conference, highlighting a significant realignment in political affiliations.
Sandeep Pathak, one of the notable figures among the defectors, has confirmed his transition to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), reflecting a broader trend among his colleagues. Raghav Chadha, another key member, stated that almost two-thirds of the AAP's Rajya Sabha MPs are following suit.
The defections include disgruntled party members like Swati Maliwal and Harbhajan Singh. This development indicates that seven out of 10 AAP Rajya Sabha MPs are leaving, marking a substantial shift in the political landscape.
