Pushing for peace, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a pivotal meeting with US Charge d'Affaires to Pakistan, Natalie Baker, discussing strategies for a second round of US-Iran talks in Islamabad. Minister Naqvi expressed optimism over US President Donald Trump's ceasefire extension, which he described as a 'welcome development'. He expressed hope that Iran would positively reciprocate, emphasizing the importance of maintaining open diplomatic channels for resolving the West Asia conflict.

In light of heightened tensions, Naqvi reassured Baker of Pakistan's robust efforts, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, for a peaceful resolution.
