In a sharp rebuke, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde called out Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge for his 'terrorist' remarks aimed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shinde argued that such statements are self-destructive for the Congress.
According to Shinde, the Congress has displayed anti-national tendencies, as evidenced during India's 'Operation Sindoor,' where he claims their comments aligned more with Pakistan's stance. Shinde labeled these actions as detrimental to India's unity.
Kharge's comments, made during a press conference in Chennai, accused Modi of intimidating opposition parties through misuse of power. The remarks have sparked controversy, especially criticizing the AIADMK's coalition with Modi's BJP. Shinde emphasized that Modi has the support of 140 crore Indians.
