A wounded French peacekeeper from an attack in Lebanon over the weekend has died, President Emmanuel Macron announced.
The soldier succumbed to his injuries in France a day after transfer from Lebanon. Another peacekeeper had been killed Saturday amid small arms fire in southern Lebanon.
Macron attributed the attack to Hezbollah, though the group denies involvement.
