BJP Chief Accuses Congress of Creating North-South Divide Through Delimitation

Telangana BJP chief, N Ramchander Rao, confronted the Congress and the INDIA bloc for allegedly orchestrating a north-south division to stymie BJP's growth in southern states. He voiced concerns over the opposition's challenge to delimitation and the recent symbolic protest by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin, who labeled the bill as detrimental to Tamil autonomy.

Rao highlighted the BJP’s significant victories in the 2024 elections, underscoring their growing influence in South India, including strong results across Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh. He claimed that Congress's alleged divisive politics aimed to curb BJP's burgeoning power in the region.

Additionally, Rao dismissed Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's hybrid model proposition for Lok Sabha seats, criticizing it as unrealistic. He also denounced the caste survey conducted by the Telangana government, labeling it as flawed and lacking legal sanctity compared to the nationally recognized census.
