In a charged political environment, AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami has called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin to channel his ire towards his own party leader, A Raja, over a controversial remark regarding late DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi's alleged 'house arrest'.
Palaniswami promises a detailed probe into the matter if AIADMK rises to power after the April 23 elections. He alleges that a viral audio features DMK's A Raja claiming Stalin kept his father under house arrest, sparking debate among politicians and the public.
The current chief minister, however, has countered these claims, describing them as baseless. Stalin suggests the criticism should focus on his role as chief minister rather than resorting to personal allegations about his family.
