During his two-day visit, Manturov met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focusing on strengthening collaborations in investment, energy, and industrial sectors.
The talks between the two leaders emphasized implementing agreements from the previous India-Russia summit, with particular interest in enhancing trade and economic cooperation. The discussions coincided with India sanctioning a fresh batch of S-400 missile systems from Russia, aligning with defense collaboration goals and regional security dynamics.
Amidst the discussions, Manturov also engaged with key Indian figures like External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, reviewing defense ties and assessing the global geopolitical climate's impact, particularly in energy sectors.
