In his address at the Karmayogi Sadhana Saptah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on government officials to adopt the spirit of a "Karma Yogi" to achieve the vision of a Developed India by 2047. Speaking via video conference, he highlighted the importance of duty-driven governance, technology, and the inauguration of Seva Teerth in this transformative journey.
PM Modi articulated that for India to realize rapid economic growth and enhanced quality of life, the role of public institutions and servant leadership is pivotal. He urged officials to consider the long-term effects of their decisions, shifting the focus from authority to duty in governance, while emphasizing technology's integration into public service.
He advocated for removing administrative silos and bridging regional differences, underscoring the need for a cohesive effort towards progress. The Sadhana Saptah 2026, launched by the Capacity Building Commission, aims to enhance civil service capacities across Central Ministries, States, and Union Territories, focusing on technology, tradition, and tangible outcomes through collaborative training and development programs.
