Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, underwent a third medical procedure for a serious eye condition on Monday, hospital authorities confirmed. Diagnosed with central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO), Khan received treatment at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.

The hospital's statement highlighted that Khan, who is also the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was administered a third dose of an anti-VEGF intravitreal injection. He remained in stable condition throughout the process, although the need for a fourth injection will be assessed in the upcoming weeks.

Khan's health issues have brought widespread attention, particularly from his family and political affiliates, who have voiced concerns over the government's decision not to permit his personal doctors to visit him in custody. Khan, currently detained at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, has allegedly lost significant vision in his right eye due to inadequate jail healthcare.
