The AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu has finalized the seat-sharing arrangements for its key allies for the upcoming April 23 Assembly elections. The Dravidian party has allocated 27 seats for BJP, 18 for PMK, and 11 for AMMK, as announced by AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami.
During a press conference at the party headquarters, Palaniswami assured that discussions with other allies are ongoing and will be concluded soon. With elections for 234 Assembly seats looming, the NDA coalition remains confident of winning at least 210 constituencies.
The announcement marks a stark contrast to the ongoing disagreements within the DMK-led alliance, which Palaniswami criticized for its delayed seat-sharing talks. The AIADMK aims to unseat the DMK from power, reinforced by high-profile visits and strategic alliances.
