The AINRC and BJP have officially clinched a deal on the allocation of seats for the upcoming Assembly elections in Puducherry. This announcement comes as the single-phase polling scheduled for April 9 looms near.
The Chief Minister of Puducherry and AINRC leader, N Rangasamy, alongside BJP's Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, spearheaded negotiations that culminated in the seat-sharing agreement.
Under the terms of this accord, AINRC will contest in 16 seats, while the BJP will vie for the remaining 14 seats, signaling a strategic collaboration between the two parties for the electoral contest.
