Bihar Transport Minister Shrawan Kumar has stated that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to remain unchallenged for the position of JD(U) National President. Speaking to ANI, Kumar mentioned that the official declaration is expected on March 24.
Having filed the nomination in Delhi, where the deadline is March 22, officials anticipate no further nominations for the party presidency. This would mark Nitish Kumar's fourth consecutive term leading the party at a national level, with substantial party backing.
JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha and other leaders have affirmed unanimous support for Nitish Kumar. His continued leadership is hoped to steer the party as well as advance Bihar's development. Kumar presently serves as the Rajya Sabha MP and awaits confirmation of his extended leadership role.
