Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) engaged in a crucial second round of seat-sharing negotiations with the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) for the forthcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
According to MNM General Secretary A Arunachalam, these discussions, held at the DMK headquarters, explored a proposal of specific constituencies for MNM to contest. However, discrepancies over certain seats have surfaced.
Arunachalam emphasized the aim to bridge these gaps to ensure a cohesive strategy for the DMK-led alliance's victory. When questioned about their desire for a double-digit seat allocation, Arunachalam refrained from specifics, requesting media patience for a final update.
