Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced a new population management policy to increase the state's population and reinforce family systems. Speaking at Ugadi celebrations in Vijayawada, Naidu underlined the importance of a joint family system for better elder care and social stability.
The chief minister detailed various welfare schemes, including 'Talli ki Vandanam' providing financial aid for schoolchildren, to promote family growth. He also reaffirmed his government's commitment to economic, social, and health security while planning measures to encourage traditional family systems.
Infrastructure and public health initiatives were also discussed. The state government is implementing a water security policy and technological advancements for better disaster response. Additionally, employment opportunities are prioritized with plans for regional economic corridors and job creation in both public and private sectors.
