Assam's Decade of Transformation: BJP Celebrates Unprecedented Development

During a press conference at the Assam Pradesh BJP headquarters, State BJP Spokesperson Kamal Kumar Medhi stressed the transformative impact of the last decade. He emphasized the upcoming elections as an opportunity for voters to acknowledge the developmental strides made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Medhi pointed out that the perception of Assam's dependency on agitation for attention has changed under the NDA government. He noted that over 65,000 km of roads and numerous bridges have been constructed, bolstering the state's infrastructure, and setting new standards for development across Assam.
The spokesperson highlighted key projects such as the Silchar high-speed corridor and advancements in healthcare with the construction of medical colleges and AIIMS. With significant measures in flood control and land rights for tea garden workers, Medhi conveyed confidence in the BJP-led NDA's prospects in the forthcoming elections.
