Senior Congress leader V D Satheesan on Wednesday assured there is no discord within the UDF over seat distribution. Unlike the LDF and BJP-led NDA, Satheesan highlighted that the Congress candidates’ list for the upcoming Kerala assembly elections would be released promptly.
Addressing the media in Delhi, Satheesan mentioned a minor 24-hour delay in releasing the candidate list was due to extraneous factors, not internal conflict within Congress. He pointed out the ongoing internal strife within CPI(M).
Moreover, the uncertainty about Congress MP K Sudhakaran's candidacy lingers, with Satheesan indicating that the decision resides with the party's central leadership. Despite Sudhakaran's staff prepping documents for nomination, he affirmed his attachment to Kannur, hinting at a potential run.
