Belapur MLA Manda Mhatre Hospitalized After Heart Attack
Manda Mhatre, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Belapur, has been admitted to a hospital following a heart attack. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached out to Mhatre via video call to check on her condition. Mhatre defeated Sandeep Naik in the 2024 assembly elections.

Manda Mhatre, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Belapur, Navi Mumbai, has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack, according to sources on Tuesday.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached out to Mhatre via a video call upon learning of her condition, inquiring about her health status.
In the 2024 assembly elections, Mhatre defeated Sandeep Naik, who had run on an NCP (SP) ticket. Naik is the son of BJP leader Ganesh Naik, a known political adversary of Shinde.
