A recent drone attack set an oil tank farm ablaze in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, as confirmed by the state-run WAM news agency. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident that briefly closed UAE's airspace due to perceived threats from Iran.
In response, Israel launched a series of strikes targeting strategic infrastructure across Tehran, Shiraz, and Tabriz. South Korea reported that 26 vessels and 183 crew members remain near the Strait of Hormuz, advocating caution in the volatile region as the country deliberates on extending support to US efforts in securing the passage.
The geopolitical turmoil continues as the Iranian parliament speaker emphasized that passage through the Strait of Hormuz is heavily compromised. Concurrently, Australia and New Zealand's ministers are calling for a swift resolution to the Middle East conflict.
