Projectile Strikes Saudi Compound: No Indian Casualties Reported

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh confirmed today that there were no Indian fatalities in a projectile incident that hit a residential compound in Saudi Arabia. An Indian national, however, sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a government hospital.

The Saudi Civil Defence, in a social media post, revealed that the incident led to two Bangladeshi fatalities and injured 11 more Bangladeshi nationals. Relief was expressed by the Indian mission over the absence of Indian casualties in the Al Kharj incident.

Counsellor (Community Welfare) Y Sabir visited the site on Sunday night and met with the injured Indian national, affirming the embassy's ongoing coordination with Saudi authorities. The incident is part of an escalating conflict in the Gulf, following joint US-Israel military actions on Iran.
