In a strategic move, the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has nominated Gaurav Gogoi for the Jorhat assembly constituency in the upcoming state polls. This decision highlights his influence as a three-time MP and an emerging face in Assam politics as the opposition's chief ministerial candidate.
