Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was subjected to a medical examination on Sunday following concerns over his deteriorating vision.

The 73-year-old, currently serving time in Adiala Jail after a corruption conviction, reportedly lost 85 per cent of his vision in his right eye, sparking urgent medical intervention.

His political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has publicly criticized the government's handling of the situation, leading to allegations of an inadequate response to Khan's health condition. The PTI demanded the involvement of Khan's personal medical staff for credibility, underscoring tensions between the party and the authorities.
