India's record against their fierce rivals improved to 8-1 in T20 World Cup history, as they outplayed Pakistan in all departments. India’s Ishan Kishan was instrumental, scoring a rapid 77 to set up a formidable total of 175-7.
Despite Pakistan's strategy to use six spinners, their batting collapsed to 114 all out in 18 overs, struggling against the precision bowling of India, including key performances from Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah, leaving Pakistan's captain Salman Agha lamenting an off day for their spin attack.
