VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan asserted that no strong bloc has arisen in Tamil Nadu to rival the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) for the upcoming elections. Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, which Thirumavalavan leads, remains a crucial player within the SPA, holding a firm stance against the fragmented AIADMK-led alliance.

Thirumavalavan criticized the BJP government's parliamentary actions, highlighting the suspension of opposition members and restrictions on speeches. He affirmed that over 100 MPs have signed a no-confidence motion which awaits announcement in Parliament. Further, he called on Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister Stalin to address grievances among state employees and teachers.

The VCK Chief praised Stalin's financial support plans for women amid challenges by opposition forces, promoting it as a step toward women's economic empowerment. Thirumavalavan also emphasized fair working conditions and compensation for state employees and educators.
