In a striking demonstration of global solidarity, approximately 250,000 people gathered in Munich on Saturday, echoing calls from Iran's exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi for intensified international pressure on Tehran's regime.
The rally in the German city, which coincided with a gathering of world leaders, saw demonstrators chant and drum in unison, demanding a regime change in Iran. Munich wasn't the only city witnessing such fervor as substantial protests erupted in Los Angeles and Toronto, marking what Pahlavi has termed a 'global day of action' in response to last month's lethal crackdowns in Iran.
Pahlavi, addressing a news conference, emphasized the urgency for democracies worldwide to stand with Iran's people, stressing that Iran's government's survival only emboldens tyranny elsewhere. Meanwhile, global figures, including U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, lent their support, with demonstrators donning symbolic 'Make Iran Great Again' caps.
