Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of spreading falsehoods about the government's recent trade agreements with the US, UK, and EU. Shah emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership ensured comprehensive protection for Indian farmers and fishermen in these deals.
Speaking at a BJP rally, Shah asserted that Rahul Gandhi was attempting to deceive the public with what he termed as a 'lie manufacturing factory'. He argued that the Free Trade Agreements signed under Modi's administration offered 100% protection to stakeholders in the agriculture and fisheries sectors, contrasting this with alleged failures during the UPA regime.
Shah also denounced corruption under the previous Congress government in Puducherry, promising further development and anti-corruption measures under the AINRC-BJP leadership. The minister encouraged voters to support BJP in upcoming elections, highlighting achievements such as improved governance and prospects for local economic growth.
