Tributes Paid to Bravehearts: Remembering Pulwama Martyrs

The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) honored the memory of 40 CRPF personnel killed in the Pulwama terror attack of February 14, 2019. Party members paid their respects on the seventh anniversary at Lethpora in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
Altaf Thakur, BJP's Jammu and Kashmir spokesperson, emphasized the peace and progress achieved in Kashmir through the sacrifices of these brave personnel. Thakur criticized local political parties for neglecting to honor the martyrs, while accusing them of mourning militants instead.
The attack, orchestrated by a Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber, involved a vehicle laden with explosives crashing into a CRPF bus as it traveled along the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, resulting in the tragic loss of 40 lives.
