Akhilesh Yadav Condemns Derogatory Remarks Against Shankaracharya Amid Political Tensions

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has sharply criticized the use of derogatory language against Shankaracharya, describing it as both verbal violence and a sin. Yadav's remarks come in response to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's statement about maintaining religious decorum and the rule of law.

Yadav warned that those using flattery to support such derogatory comments would also face public backlash. He further criticized the BJP for its attempts to manipulate public perception by leveraging religious titles and for failing to honestly disclose important information during significant religious events like Maha Kumbh.

Highlighting the need for ethical conduct, Yadav accused Adityanath of engaging in hate politics and emphasized the importance of genuine reflection and respect for religious traditions and figures. He argued that such ill-timed remarks disrupt societal harmony and detract from cultural values.
