Dimple Yadav, a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party, has launched a scathing critique against the government, accusing it of deliberately silencing the opposition in Parliament. Speaking to ANI, Yadav emphasized the democratic right to express views and warned about policies potentially harming farmers.
Yadav expressed grave concerns regarding the agriculture sector, particularly the potential damage from opening Indian markets to the United States. She accused the government of acting against farmers' interests, highlighting the detrimental impact such policies could have on their livelihoods.
This criticism comes in the wake of the suspension of eight opposition MPs from the Lok Sabha for the session due to rule violations. The uproar began when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attempted to discuss the China-India standoff, resulting in contentious parliamentary sessions.
