VBA Joins Forces with Shiv Sena: A Strategic Move in Ulhasnagar
Two Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) corporators have aligned with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, strengthening its influence in the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation. This move aims for community development and boosts Shiv Sena's lead over BJP in the civic body.

In a significant political maneuver, two corporators from Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) have pledged their support to Eknath Shinde's faction of the Shiv Sena, enhancing its standing within the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation.
The civic elections, held on January 15 in Thane district's 78-member body, saw the BJP and Shiv Sena, both of which are part of Maharashtra's ruling Mahayuti alliance, winning 37 and 36 seats, respectively, while contesting independently.
VBA representatives Surekha Sonawane and Vikas Kharat met with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai, delivering letters of support, with Dr. Balaji Kinikar and other party leaders in attendance, aiming for ward development and improvement of Dalit localities.
