During a recent election rally, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, proposing the formation of a 'Ministry of Insults'. Vadra accused Modi of prioritizing accusations towards opposition leaders over addressing key issues such as corruption and governance failures in Bihar under the NDA rule.
Highlighting the repetitive nature of the prime minister's rhetoric, she argued that under his administration, a focus has shifted away from development concerns to pervasive allegations against political opponents. The Congress general secretary further alleged that the Bihar government is effectively controlled by central leadership, undermining its autonomy.
In her critique, Vadra questioned the NDA's 20-year developmental track record in Bihar, urging Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to provide explanations before promising new initiatives. She emphasized joblessness as a critical issue, blaming the transfer of public sector units to corporate entities closely aligned with the BJP, forcing the state's youth to seek employment elsewhere.
