Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused Congress leader Jawahar Lal Nehru of disrespecting India's first President, Rajendra Prasad, by dissuading him from attending the inauguration of the renovated Somnath temple.

Speaking at an election rally in Bihar's Siwan district, Adityanath stated that Congress has been sidelined by the people of Bihar for allegedly insulting historical figures such as Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Babasaheb Ambedkar, and Rajendra Prasad. The BJP leader further alleged that Congress exhibits disdain towards Indian heritage while lauding his own party's commitment to preserving cultural pride.

Yogi Adityanath underscored his administration's stance on combating crime, citing the crackdown on mafias in Uttar Pradesh. He contended that similar efforts would be executed in Bihar should the NDA maintain power, referring to the stringent actions taken against criminals as 'bulldozer justice.'
