BJP Leader's Son Caught in Toll Booth Assault: Viral CCTV Footage Sparks Outrage

A CCTV footage, claiming to capture a violent incident, shows BJP leader Vijugouda Patil's son, Samarthgouda, involved in an attack on a toll booth staffer after refusing to pay the toll.

The footage, reportedly from Kannoli on the Vijayapura-Kalaburagi highway, depicts the young Patil and friends verbally abusing and physically assaulting the staff member. Samarthgouda allegedly flaunted his political connections by claiming his father's identity.

Despite the incident causing injuries to the staff member Sangappa, and widespread media attention highlighting the incident, the police have yet to receive a formal complaint from toll booth employees regarding the altercation.
