The Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena claim they have uncovered significant irregularities in voter lists within the Shivaji Park area of Mumbai. The revelation came after a thorough survey conducted by representatives from both parties, including MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande, Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Ajit Kadam, and MNS functionary Santosh Sali.
According to Deshpande, the survey found numerous instances of dual or fake voter registrations in the electoral rolls. These findings come as the two influential local parties prepare for a protest march scheduled for November 1, aimed at questioning the conduct of the Election Commission.
This cooperation between Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray's MNS marks a noteworthy first, as they come together to address these electoral discrepancies. The parties underscore that their efforts have unveiled some truly "shocking findings," raising concerns over electoral integrity in the area.
