Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress MP, declared her staunch opposition to the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in Kerala. She expressed concerns over the transparency of the exercise, referencing previous controversies in Bihar.
During her two-day visit to Wayanad, Priyanka reiterated her readiness to confront this initiative in and outside Parliament. She emphasized the party's commitment to protecting democratic integrity across states.
Besides voicing her concerns over voter list revisions, Priyanka inaugurated a series of development projects, including a government Ayurveda dispensary and a Community-Based Disability Management Centre, funded by the MPLADS scheme.
