In the run-up to the Bihar assembly elections, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are scheduled to headline around 15 rallies, party insiders revealed on Wednesday. This move comes as the race gains momentum in the politically significant Hindi heartland.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who recently underwent a pacemaker procedure, is also slated to address three rallies and host several press conferences in Bihar, demonstrating the party's aggressive campaign strategy.

Rahul Gandhi kicked off his campaign with appearances in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga, while Priyanka Gandhi plans to join the fray later this week. As part of a robust campaign team, senior party figures, including Sonia Gandhi and Kanhaiya Kumar, will bolster efforts. The oppositional INDIA bloc has nominated Tejashwi Yadav as its candidate for chief minister, ahead of the polling dates set for November 6 and 11, with results expected on November 14.
