Sanjay Raut Criticizes BJP's 'Use and Throw' Politics

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Tuesday criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'use and throw' policy, arguing that it relies on 'crutches' to gain power in various states, including Maharashtra.

In response to Union Minister Amit Shah's comment that the BJP does not require crutches in Maharashtra, Raut referred to parties like the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and the Ajit Pawar-led NCP as the very supports the BJP exploits to maintain authority.

Raut, dismissing Shah's understanding of history, asserted that alliances were crucial for the BJP's initial growth in regions like Maharashtra, stating that the current administration's reliance on allies was part of a larger Gujarat strategy. He also addressed Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis's rebuttal, clarifying the implication of being deemed 'crutches.'
