In a somber development, Satyanarayana, the father of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA and former Telangana Minister T Harish Rao, passed away on Tuesday morning due to health complications. His body was placed at Krinss Villas in Hyderabad, where relatives, friends, and BRS affiliates gathered to pay their respects. Plans for the funeral detail the rites to occur at Vaikunta Mahaprasthanam Crematorium in Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, later in the day.

BRS has publicly shared their collective grief, extending condolences on their social platform X, acknowledging the esteemed presence Satyanarayana held within their community. BRS stalwarts, including prominent figures like K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and KT Rama Rao (KTR), articulated their sorrow, mourning the void left by his departure.

BRS Chief KCR, who shared a familial connection with Satyanarayana as his brother-in-law, reminisced about the close bond they cherished. In immediate response, KCR reached out to Harish Rao, offering solace to him and his family, reflecting deeply on the loss that mirrors with personal empathy. With the planned visit by KCR to pay respects, BRS working president KTR announced a cessation of all party activities, including ongoing electoral endeavors, to properly honor the late Satyanarayana.
