Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh of enabling a surge in violence and discrimination against Dalits. He claims that 'feudal forces' have thrived under the current administration, which is shielding criminal activities rather than curbing them.
Yadav alleges that government supporters are undermining the rights of the PDA (Pichhde, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) community, stripping them of jobs, reservations, and dignity. He points to instances of brutality, such as the death of a young Dalit man in Rae Bareli, as evidence of rampant injustice.
He further maintains that Uttar Pradesh leads in crimes against Dalits and women. The Samajwadi leader asserts that the police are pressured not to act due to political influence, and that the BJP is misusing state power. Yadav concludes with a call to action, uniting the PDA community to thwart the BJP's reign in the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections.
