Biplab Kumar Deb, Tripura MP and BJP’s co-in-charge for West Bengal, launched a fierce critique of the Trinamool Congress, led by Mamata Banerjee. Deb asserted that the state's law and order have deteriorated, claiming that 'human values no longer exist' under the current government.
Deb accused Banerjee of lacking compassion, comparing her demeanor unfavorably against the typical perception of women as gentle. He cited frequent instances of crimes such as rape, murder, and arson, painting a grim picture of the current situation in West Bengal.
Further, Deb raised suspicions about the alleged property holdings of Banerjee's relatives, although he refrained from naming her specifically. He mentioned that while Banerjee claims residence in Kalighat, it is believed that her relatives own about 32 houses. He concluded by stating that people are eager for political change in the state.
