Karnataka ministers firmly refuted allegations made by BJP leaders claiming the Congress party was raising funds for the Bihar assembly elections. The accusations suggest that state officials are being coerced to contribute financially under various pretenses.
BJP's Jagadish Shettar and B Y Raghavendra pointed fingers at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, suggesting a recent cabinet dinner was part of the fundraising efforts. In response, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar demanded evidence to support these claims.
The Congress ministers countered by highlighting BJP's own history of financial scandals. Priyank Kharge shared a video of past BJP misdeeds, asserting that the BJP's current allegations are baseless and echoing past corrupt practices.
