Land Dispute Turns Deadly: Tragic Shooting in Jabalpur

In a tragic turn of events in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Clarence Atkins, a 32-year-old civil engineer, was fatally shot on Thursday. Authorities believe a land dispute may have sparked the incident.
The shooting occurred near Shiv Shakti Tiraha around 8 am when Atkins was returning home after escorting his child to school. Two masked assailants approached him on a motorcycle, opening fire at close range, Superintendent of Police Satish Kumar Sahu informed reporters.
Despite being rushed to treatment facilities, Atkins succumbed to his injuries. While police have identified some suspects and examined extensive CCTV footage, the shooters remain at large. The ongoing investigation includes a father-son duo under scrutiny for potential ties to the case.
